Speed Control Servo

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect speed control servo electrical connector. Using a jumper wire, connect terminal No. 2 of speed control servo connector to battery positive terminal. See Fig 1 . Connect a second jumper wire from terminal No. 3 of servo connector to negative battery terminal. Servo should operate.
  2. With terminal No. 2 still connected to positive battery terminal, connect terminals No. 1, 3 and 4 to negative battery terminal. Servo should pull in. Leaving all other jumpers connected, remove jumper wire from terminal No. 3 of servo connector. Servo should remain pulled in.
  3. Leaving all other jumpers connected, remove jumper wire from terminal No. 2 of servo connector. Servo should release immediately. If speed control servo operates as specified, return to appropriate Pinpoint Test and resume testing at last step completed. If speed control servo does not operate as specified, replace speed control servo.
