- Connect another jumper wire from ground to terminal for Brown/White wire on wiper motor. Motor should run at low speed. Disconnect jumper wire from Brown/White wire terminal and reconnect it to motor terminal for Blue/Orange wire. Motor should run at high speed.
- Run motor until it reaches park position. Disconnect jumper wires. Measure resistance between terminals for Black/White and Red wires. Resistance should be less than 5 ohms. Measure resistance between terminals for Black and Red wires. Resistance should be greater than 10,000 ohms.
- Reconnect jumper wires. Run motor until it is not in park position. Disconnect jumper wires. Measure resistance between terminals for Black and Red wires. Resistance should be less than 5 ohms. Measure resistance between terminals for Black/White and Red wires. Resistance should be more than 10,000 ohms. Replace motor if operation or resistance measurements are not as specified.
