Pinpoint Test Q: The ACM Does Not Respond To Touchscreen Or Button Presses

- Q1 CHECK FOR DTC U2013:63
- Ignition ON.
- Clear the ACM DTCs.
- Wait 3 minutes.
- Repeat the ACM self-test, making sure that no buttons are pressed during the test.
- Is DTC U2013:63 set in the ACM ?
- Yes: GO to Q3.
- No: GO to Q2 .
- Q2 CHECK FOR SCAN TOOL COMMUNICATION WITH THE ACM
- Carry out the network test using the scan tool.
- Does the ACM respond to the scan tool?
- Yes: GO to Q3 .
- No: REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
- Q3 CHECK FOR CORRECT ACM OPERATION
- Ignition OFF.
- Disconnect all the ACM connectors.
- Check for:
- corrosion
- damaged pins
- pushed-out pins
- Connect all the ACM connectors and make sure they seat correctly.
- Operate the system and determine if the concern is still present.
- Is the concern still present?
- Yes: INSTALL a new ACM . REFER to AUDIO CONTROL MODULE (ACM) . TEST the system for normal operation. If the system still does not operate correctly, INSTALL a new video feed cable (part of the 14401 harness). TEST the system for normal operation.
- No: The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector.
