Repair procedures (plant/service)

1a. If fault is passive: a) Check plug connections on control module and on transmission for correct detent engagement and loose contacts b) Inspect external transmission wiring harness for: - Damaged insulation / abraded areas Crimping, crushing c) Continuity check on wiring harness 1b. If fault is active: Continuity check in external transmission wiring harness 2. Resistance check on internal transmission wiring harness. If the measured resistance is not within the specified range continue with the next test step. 3. If the results of the continuity check are not as specified, replace the internal wiring harness (14 pin), otherwise replace the hydraulic actuator or continue with the next test step. 4. Replace the GSAW21/56 if the measured voltage is not within the specified range, then reset the GSAW21/56 adaptation data.
