61 35 015 Removing and installing (replacing) control unit for Car Access System

NOTE: The comfort access system is a radio-based system and can be interfered with by radio waves from other systems (e.g. mobile phone).

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unlock latch mechanism (2) and pull out control unit for Car Access System (3) in downward direction.

Replacement: 

Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/ENCODING  Vehicles with auxiliary heater:

Initialize TELESTART HAND-HELD TRANSMITTER

For vehicles with Rear-seat entertainment (RSE): 

Teach in RSE master key via path:
