61 35 400 Removing and installing/replacing hybrid interface module (HIM)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

CLAMP OFF BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD
REMOVE SIDE COVER ON INSTRUMENT PANEL ON RIGHT

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 61 35 1AZ .

Feed out hybrid interface module (HIM) (3) on side.

Installation:

Hybrid interface module (HIM) (1) must be fed in correctly in guide (2) of body bulkhead.

Replacement:

Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/CODING .
