61 13... Unlocking and disconnecting various plug connections in hybrid vehicles

IMPORTANT: Observe the following instructions for handling high-voltage plug connections:
  • Damaged high-voltage plug connections must be replaced and must not be repaired.
  • Dirt contamination must be rinsed off before opening the plug connection

Electric air conditioning compressor (EKK): 

Slide lock (1) in direction of arrow up to stop.

Press down lock (2) and remove connector in direction of arrow (3).

Press lock (1) in direction of arrow.

Lift up lock (2) in direction of arrow with a suitable tool in the direction of arrow.

IMPORTANT: Carefully insert tool into opening. Do not make any turning or lifting motions.

Pull plug connections (3) in direction of arrow.

Power Electronic Box (signal connection): 

Press lock (1) and fold up clip (2) in direction of arrow.

Remove the plug connection in direction of arrow.

Installation note: 

Clip must be folded towards the front up to the stop for locking.

Power Electronic Box (high-voltage connection): 

Press lock (1) up to stop.

Detach plug connection (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation note: 

Push plug connection (1) up to stop.

Push lock (2) up to stop.

IMPORTANT: Lock (2) must snap audibly into place. Pull test of whether plug connection is latched!

Auxiliary Power Module (signal connection): 

Raise lock (1) in direction of arrow with suitable tool.

Remove the plug connection in direction of arrow.

Installation note: 

Plug connection must snap audibly into place.

Auxiliary Power Module (high-voltage connection): 

Press lock (1) up to stop.

Detach plug connection (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation note: 

Push plug connection (1) up to stop.

Push lock (2) up to stop.

IMPORTANT: Lock (2) must snap audibly into place. Pull test of whether plug connection is latched!

Hybrid power distribution box: 

Unlock lock (1) in upward direction with suitable tool.

IMPORTANT: Carefully insert tool into opening. Do not make any turning or lifting motions.

Detach plug connection (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation note: 

Plug connection must snap audibly into place.

12 V Voltage supply on high-voltage battery unit: 

Slide lock (1) in direction of arrow and remove.

Installation note: 

Press lock (1) up to limit position.

Press lock (1) downwards and pull off plug connection (2) towards front.

Installation note: 

Push plug connection (2) up to stop.

Automatic transmission (signal connection): 

Slide lock (1) in direction of arrow up to stop.

Press locks (2) in direction of arrow and slide plug connection (3) in direction of arrow.

Installation note: 

Plug connection must snap audibly into place.

Automatic transmission (high-voltage connection): 

Press lock (1) up to stop.

Detach plug connection (2) in direction of arrow.

Push plug connection (1) up to stop.

Push lock (2) up to stop.

IMPORTANT: Lock (2) must snap audibly into place. Pull test of whether plug connection is latched!
