17 11 370 Removing and Installing/Replacing Cooling Loop For Power Steering

Recycling: 

Catch and dispose of hydraulic fluid.

Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.

Draw off hydraulic fluid.

Installation: 

Bleed power steering.  See 32 13 006 BLEEDING POWER STEERING UNIT

Unlock connection (1) on left and detach.

Unlock connection (1) on right and detach.

Remove module carrier (1) with radiator and A/C condenser from rubber mounts and push at bottom approx. 5 cm towards rear.

Installation: 

Rubber mounts fall out easily, ensure correct installation position.

Release retaining clip (1) on left.

Release retaining clip (1) on right.

Release screw and remove power steering cooling loop (2) towards bottom.
