52 25 ... Additional Work (Comfort) With Defective Drive For Backrest Angle Adjustment

Detach seat cover and padding (1) on inside (center armrest) of seat.

Release screws (2).

Installation: 

Tightening torque 8±1 Nm.

Pull gearing (3) outwards.

Backrest can now move freely.

Installation: 

Before gearing can be reinstalled, both levers (1) and (2) must be synchronized.

Adjust inner lever (1) (to center armrest) so that gear wheel engages 1st tooth of lever.

Adjust outer lever (2) so that gear wheel engages 2nd tooth of lever.

Install gearing.

Installation: 

Checking:

Measurements A and B must match up.
