Failure of the component

If the diesel particulate sensor fails, the following behavior can be expected:
- Fault entry in the engine control unit
- Emissions warning lamp lights up
- European version:
In the European version, an engine symbol lights up as emissions warning light.
- US version:
In the US version the text "Service Engine Soon" appears.
The emissions warning light is integrated on the instrument cluster alongside the other mandatory monitoring and warning lights.
