67 11 555 Removing And Installing/Replacing Servodrive For Tank Filler Flap

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

Unhook emergency actuation pull strap (1) in direction of arrow from guide.

Release screws (1).

Unscrew nut (2).

Feed out fuse box incl. metal bracket (3) in direction of arrow and fold downwards.

Loosen screws (1).

Installation: 

Make sure servodrive for fuel filler flap (2) is correctly adjusted. It must be possible to lock or unlock the fuel filler flap completely.

Feed out servodrive for fuel filler flap (2) towards rear.

Disconnect plug connection (3) and remove servodrive for fuel filler flap (2).

Replacement: 

Unhook emergency actuation pull strap (1) from clip (2) and remove from locking pin (3) of servodrive for fuel filler flap (4).

Turn sleeve (1) with a suitable tool (e.g. pointed pliers) approx. 45° in direction of arrow and pull out of receptacle (2).

Installation: 

Make sure sleeve (1) is correctly seated on locking pin for tank filler flap (2).
