84 11 610 Removing And Installing/Replacing Eject Box (Cordless Keypad Handset)

NOTE:

Special Tools Required: 

Unlock and open storage tray (drawer).

CAUTION: To avoid scratches, cover decorative trims with a protective cover (1).

Detach storage tray (4) as follows from function carrier:

Press button (1) and remove SIM card holder (2).

NOTE: Follows next work step for removal (risk of damage).

Special tools 00 9 322 and 00 9 341 required.

Lever cover (3) in direction of arrow out of storage tray (4).

CAUTION: Do not damage ribbon cable (5).
NOTE: (6) = Protective cover.

Removing:

If fitted, release catches (4) with special tool 00 9 322.

Installation: 

Following parts of cover (7) must not be damaged or missing:

CAUTION: Do not under any circumstances touch circuit board (2) with hands (risk of damage).

Using special tool 00 9 341, unlock insert (1) and pull out slightly in direction of arrow.

CAUTION: Do not under any circumstances touch circuit board (2) with hands (risk of damage).

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Remove insert (3).

Installation: 

Ribbon cable (1) must be laid in guide (3).

Stop (4) and damper (5) must not be damaged.

NOTE: A hand mirror (4) will be required for viewing.

Installation: 

Springs (1) must be correctly connected in mountings (2).

Catch (3) must not be damaged.
