Remove and install alternator drive belt. See 11 28 010 REPLACING ALTERNATOR DRIVE BELT (M52 / S52 / M52TU / M54 / M56)
Depending on alternator type, grip shaft with:
- hexagon socket
- multi-tooth socket or
- Torx socket wrench
Release nut with special tool 12 7 110.
Installation:
Tightening torque. Refer to ENGINE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUE .
