63 99... Notes for replacing the protective cap of the headlight

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2010 BMW 528xi, 2010 BMW 528i, 2009 BMW 528xi, 2009 BMW 528i, and 2008 BMW 528xi. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Important! Risk of damage!  Damaged seals on the protective caps will lead to moisture penetration into the headlight. This will in turn cause porous cable insulations and malfunctioning of the headlight.

When working on the headlight system, check the protective cap seals. Replace the protective cap in the event of damage!
