84 11 612 Removing And Installing/Replacing Eject Box (In Rear Center Armrest)

Special Tools Required: 

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection)! Refer to 61 35 ... NOTES ON ESD PROTECTION (ELECTRO STATIC DISCHARGE) .
NOTE: Electrical components which are particularly sensitive to electrostatic discharge (electronic control units, sensors, etc.) are marked with the ESD warning symbol.

-Electro.

-Static.

-Discharge.

Remove storage tray/CD box.

Snap out trim (1) in upward direction and disconnect plug connections underneath.

Lift out mat insert (2).

Lever out trim (1) with special tool 00 9 317.

Lever eject box (1) with special tool 00 9 317 out of fixture and feed out associated wiring harness.
