M5 & M6 With Sequential Manual Transmission

  1. Start the engine, but do not start driving.
  2. Press the TPMS button (see Fig 1 or Fig 2) at least 4 seconds, but not longer than 2 minutes.
  3. After releasing the button, the warning lamp in the instrument cluster lights up yellow for a few seconds, and the message "Initializing FTM..." appears on the Control Display for a few seconds.
  4. Start to drive. The initialization finishes during driving without additional feedback.
