TCB: Telematic Communication Box control unit basic version

The Telematic Communication Box (TCB) control unit basic version is connected to the CAN bus. It consists of a housing made of plastic. A battery compartment is integrated on the top side, which includes the emergency battery (see EMERGENCY BATTERY ).

The following aerials are integrated into the TCB control unit basic version.

A SIM card is also permanently installed in the TCB control unit basic version. SIM stands for Subscriber Identity Module. The permanently installed SIM card enables registration in the GSM network.

The TCB control unit basic version is supplied with power by the Body Domain Controller (BDC), via terminal 30F.
