61 34... Removing and installing/replacing the power socket in the front storage compartment

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove STORAGE COMPARTMENT
Remove the POWER SOCKET FOR THE LIGHTING BULB HOLDER

Carefully leverage out the holder (1) with a suitable tool from the power socket holder in the direction of the arrow.

Installation note:

Make sure the bracket (1) is correctly seated on the power socket holder.

The contact strip of the holder (1) must be located between the power socket (2) and the power socket holder.

Unlock the latch mechanisms of the power socket holder with a suitable tool and guide the power socket holder with the power socket (2) downward out of the center console (3).

Installation note:

The latch mechanisms on power socket holder must not be damaged.

Make sure the power socket holder in the center console (3) is correctly seated.

Unlock catches (1) with a suitable tool and feed socket (2) in direction of arrow out of socket receptacle (3).

Installation note:

Catches (1) on socket receptacle (3) must not be damaged.

Make sure socket (2) is correctly seated in socket receptacle (3).
