32 31... Removing and installing/replacing steering column lock

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove LOWER SECTION OF STEERING COLUMN TRIM 

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release shear screws (2) with center punch and hammer.

Remove steering column lock (3).

Installation: 

Tighten down shear screws until the screw top is detached from the screw head.
