63 31... Removing and installing/replacing fiber optic conductor of front door trim panel (storage compartment)

WARNING: Fiber optic conductors are sensitive (risk of damage). Always handle carefully.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Fiber optic conductor at bottom of storage compartment 

Remove LED module (2) in direction of arrow from bracket (3).

Carefully pull LED module (2) from fiber optic conductor (1).

Pull out fiber optic conductor (1) by about 10 mm in direction of arrow and unclip from the storage compartment side.

Grasp the end of the fiber optic conductor (1) with finger and unclip in direction of arrow.

Feed out fiber optic cable (1) in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

Check fiber optic conductor (1) for damage (scratches or cracks), replace if necessary.
