13 62 668 Removing and installing/replacing particulate control sensor (N57 D30 O/T 1 with SCR)

WARNING: Risk of burning!
Only perform this repair work on an engine that has cooled down.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read out the fault memory of the DDE control unit.
Switch off ignition.
Remove EXHAUST SYSTEM .
Remove heat shield at rear.
Partially detach front heat shield.

Detach particulate control sensor (1) and remove from exhaust system.

Tightening torque 13 62 13AZ .

Unlock connector (1) and remove.

Unclip control unit for particulate control sensor from bracket.

Maneuver out particular control sensor and control unit for particulate control sensor and remove.

Installation note:

Check stored error/fault messages.

Clear diagnostic fault entries from fault memory.
