Key Reader and Key Data Update
INFORMATION
Key Data must be updated and transferred to ISPA Light or the Battery Care Application in ASAP by using the Key Reader.
KEY DATA UPDATE PROCEDURE
- Get into the vehicle.
- Press and hold the central lock/unlock button for 5 seconds.
- Press the Start/Stop button and release.
- Wait another 3 seconds and then release the central lock/unlock button.
- Hold the front edge of the key directly onto the key symbol on the steering wheel column and keep it there.
- The "Updating service data" CC confirmation appears.IMPORTANT: A second gong will sound after approximately 3-5 seconds and indicates that the data transfer is complete.
No second gong indicates an error.KEY READER PROCEDURE
- Make sure you hold the key to the Key Reader as shown in the picture. As soon as the orange light appears, the key has been recognized.IMPORTANT: If the key is held to the key reader in any other direction than shown in the picture, the orange light will not appear and the key will not be recognized.
