Safety functions

An automatic engine start is prevented in the following conditions:

• Repair work in the engine compartment (engine compartment lid open)
• Leaving the vehicle (driver's door open and driver's seat belt not fastened)

Attention  !

Always prevent an automatic engine start during repair work in the engine compartment by deactivating the automatic engine start-stop function (automatic engine start-stop function button).
