Car sharing module (CSM)

The Car Sharing Module (CSM) is a control unit with an ID reader for private and joint car sharing.

The vehicles can be reserved either online or borrowed spontaneously (green LED on the ID reader is lit).

The electronic immobiliser in the Body Domain Controller (BDC) control unit is activated via the K-CAN2 of the Car Sharing Module (CSM). The central information display, which is connected to the headunit, serves as the display.

Apps (Android) run on the Car Sharing Module for use by customers and as assistance for inexperienced drivers. These apps output car sharing-specific displays. Settings can be made via the controller (CON).

A card is required for customer authentication for access to the vehicle and release of the electronic immobiliser via the Car Sharing Module (CSM).
