Remove and install (replace) telematics control module (Cooper Convertible )

Preliminary work needed:
- Remove GLOVE COMPARTMENT .
Removal:
Release detents and pull telematics control module (1) out of holder (2).
Disconnect connector (1).
Remove telematics control module (2).
Installation:
Connect plug (1) with telematics control module (2).
Slide telematics control module (1) into holder (2).
NOTE:
When replacing the telematics control module check whether the faulty telematics control module is equipped with an emergency battery:
- if no, then the new part is installed without an EMERGENCY BATTERY !
- If yes, ten the new parts is to be equipped with a new emergency battery (separate order, telematics control module is shipped without an emergency battery!)
Required follow-up work:
- Install GLOVE COMPARTMENT .
Replacement:
- Carry out PROGRAMMING/CODING .
