Air Injection System: Description

Air injection system consists of air line from air cleaner which enters exhaust system between catalytic converters. This system is referred to as a Pulse Air Feeder (PAF) system because it consists of a pulse air feeder between exhaust manifold and air cleaner.

The pulse air feeder consists of main and sub reed valves. The PAF system supplies secondary air into exhaust manifold to promote oxidation of exhaust emissions.
