Blower Motor Relay Testing

  1. Remove blower motor relay from fuse/relay block. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals No. 1 and No. 3. See Fig 1 . There should be no continuity.
  2. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals No. 2 and No. 4. There should be continuity.
  3. Connect 12V battery positive lead to terminal No. 2 and negative lead to terminal No. 4. See Fig 1 .
  4. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals No. 1 and No. 3. There should be continuity. If continuity is not as specified in any step, replace relay.
