Verification Test VER-1
- Reconnect and reassemble all components. Ensure all intake hoses are in good condition and are installed properly. Start engine. Allow engine to idle for about one minute. Raise engine speed to 3000 RPM then return engine speed to idle.
- To reset Codes 11 (oxygen sensor), 24 (vehicle speed sensor) or 43 (EGR temperature sensor), vehicle must be test driven. Test drive vehicle if any of these codes were previously stored.
- Check for fault codes. If any codes are present, return to TEST DR-1A - CHECKING FAULT CODES .
- If no fault codes are present, but vehicle driveability is poor, perform TEST DR-14A - NO FAULT CODE SWITCH TESTS .
