DTC P0121: Throttle Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Problem: Description

Throttle Position (TP) sensor outputs a voltage which is proportional to throttle valve opening angle. Engine Control Module (ECM) or Powertrain Control Module (PCM) checks whether voltage output by TP sensor is within a specified range. It also checks that voltage output does not become too large while engine is idling.
