Auto-Dimming Feature Test
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Check that the auto-dimming interior mirror is on. The green operation indicator light will be lit when the auto-dimming interior mirror is on. If it's not, press the switch to turn on the auto-dimming interior mirror. Make sure that the selector lever is not in the R range.
- Cover the forward-facing light sensor on the back of the mirror with a black cloth.
- Check that the mirror dims within 2 minutes when the light strikes the backward-facing light sensor.
- If the mirror does not dim, replace the auto-dimming interior mirror assembly.
