DTC U0126: Steering angle sensor CAN timeout; DTC U0141 ETACS-ECU CAN timeout; DTC U0317 EPB CAN timeout; DTC U110A PHEV ECU CAN timeout; DTC U15A0 ACC/FCM ECU CAN timeout; DTC U15A5 FCM/LDW/AHB CAN timeout: Diagnosis

STEP 1. Scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) CAN bus diagnostics.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), always turn off the power supply mode of the electric motor switch before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE).
1. Connect scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE). Refer to "HOW TO CONNECT THE SCAN TOOL (M.U.T.-IIISE) ."
2. Turn on the power supply mode of the electric motor switch.
3. Diagnose the CAN bus line.
4. Turn off the power supply mode of the electric motor switch.
Q: Is the check result normal?

YES: Go to Step 2.

NO: Repair the CAN bus lines (Refer to CAN BUS DIAGNOSTICS TABLE ). On completion, go to Step 4.
STEP 2. Check whether the DTC is set again.
Q: Is DTC U0126, U0141, U0317, U110A, U15A0 or U15A5 set?

YES: Go to Step 3.

NO: The procedure is complete.
STEP 3. Scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) other system DTC.
Use scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) to check that other DTC is set in the ECU corresponding to the relevant diagnosis.

Q: Is other DTC set?

YES: Troubleshoot for the relevant DTC.

NO: Go to Step 4.
STEP 4. Check whether the DTC is set again.
Use scan tool (M.U.T.-III) to check if the same DTC (time-out) is set in the other ECU.

Q: Is any DTC set?

YES (DTC U0126 is set): Replace steering wheel sensor (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).

YES (DTC U0141 is set): Replace the ETACS-ECU (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).

YES (DTC U0317 is set): Replace the electric parking brake ECU (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).

YES (DTC U110A is set): Replace the PHEV-ECU (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).

YES (DTC U15A0 is set): Replace the ACC-ECU (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).

YES (DTC U15A5 is set): Replace the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).

NO (No DTC is set.): Go to Step 5.
STEP 5. Check whether the DTC is set again.
Erase the DTC.

Q: Is DTC U0126, U0141, U0317, U110A, U15A0 or U15A5 set?

YES: Replace the hydraulic unit (integrated with ASC-ECU) (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).

NO: The procedure is complete.
