ELECTRIC INTAKE VALVE TIMING CONTROL MODULE: Removal & Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative and positive battery terminals, then wait at least three minutes. Refer to Removal and Installation  .
  2. Remove the engine side cover (LH). Refer to EXPLODED VIEW .
  3. Partially remove the fender protector (LH). Refer to EXPLODED VIEW .
  4. Remove the air cleaner resonator. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Disconnect the harness connector from the electric intake valve timing control module.
  6. Remove the electric intake valve timing control module nuts.
  7. Remove the electric intake valve timing control module.
