Radiator Fan Motor Test
- On non-turbo engine, apply battery voltage across fan motor terminals. Radiator fan motor should operate. If motor does not operate, replace motor.
- On turbocharged engine, disconnect radiator fan motor connector. Using jumper wire, connect negative battery lead to center terminal of radiator fan motor connector. Using a second jumper wire, connect positive battery lead to either outer terminal. Motor should run in low (or high) speed.
- Disconnect jumper wire from outer terminal and reconnect it to remaining outer terminal. Motor should run in high (or low) speed. If motor does not operate as indicated, replace motor.
