Fuel Pump Control Module & Dropping Resistor
- Ensure coolant temperature is more than 122°F (50°C). With fuel pump control module connected (located at left rear of trunk), check voltage between Green/Red wire and Black wire terminals.
- Within 30 seconds after starting engine, zero volts should exist. After 30 seconds, 3.7 volts should exist. Also check resistance of dropping resistor (located below fuel pump control module). Resistance should be 0.9 ohms. Replace components if necessary.
