Possible Causes

When vehicle speed is more than 19 MPH (30 km/h), ON signals from stop lamp switch and ASCD brake switch are sent to the ECM at same time. Possible causes are:
- Defective ASCD brake switch.
- Defective ECM.
- Harness or connectors (ASCD brake switch circuit is open or shorted).
- Incorrect ASCD brake switch installation.
- Incorrect stop lamp switch installation.
- Defective stop lamp switch.
