DTC P1122: Electronic Throttle Control Circuit: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Infiniti G35. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: If DTC P1122 is displayed with DTC P1121 or P1126, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC P1121 or P1126. See DTC P1121: ELECTRIC THROTTLE CONTROL PERFORMANCE PROBLEM  or DTC P1124 OR DTC P1126  .
CAUTION: When battery or ECM is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until adaptation systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES - INFINITI article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
NOTE: Self-diagnostic tests are written specifically for Nissan's CONSULT-II scan tool. A generic scan tool may not be capable of performing all necessary test functions.
NOTE: Before replacing any component that scan tool suggests as faulty, ensure that all wiring connections and harness connectors are okay. Ensure that Power/Ground (PG) circuits are functioning properly.
NOTE: Before performing diagnostic procedure, follow testing procedure. See TESTING PROCEDURE  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
