ABS Actuator and Electric Unit (Control Unit) Circuit Inspection

- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check terminals and connector of ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) for damage, bend and loose connection (control unit side and harness side).
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 2.
NG: Repair terminal or connector.
- CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
With TCS
- Disconnect ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector.
- Check resistance between ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) harness connector terminals.RESISTANCE REFERENCE CHART
ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector Terminal Resistance (Approx.) E125 20 23 54 - 66 ohm
With VDC
- Disconnect ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector.
- Check resistance between ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) harness connector terminals.RESISTANCE REFERENCE CHART
ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector Terminal Resistance (Approx.) E125 7 9 54 - 66 ohm
OK or NG
OK: Replace ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit).
NG: Repair harness between ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) and TCM.
