8. Check CKPS (Pos) Shield Circuit For Open And Short

- Disconnect harness connectors E315, F5.
- Check harness continuity between harness connector F5 terminal 2 and ground.
Refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .
Continuity should exist.
- Also check harness for short to power.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 10. CHECK CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (POS) .
- NG: GO TO 9.
