Component Inspection

CHECK ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 2

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect engine coolant temperature sensor 2 harness connector.
Remove engine coolant temperature sensor 2.

Check resistance between engine coolant temperature sensor 2 terminals by heating with hot water as shown in the figure, below.
