Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Throttle Position Sensor:

1. Disconnect TPS electrical connector.

2. Remove two TPS attaching screws, lockwashers and retainers.

3. Remove PCV vent hose.

4. With throttle valve(s) in normal closed idle position, install TPS. Ensure TPS pickup lever is located above tang on throttle actuator lever.

5. Install vent hose, retainers, lock-washers and screws. Adjust TPS. Refer to ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES/THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR.
