Code 32, EGR System Error (3 Of 3) Negative BACKPRESSURE

NOTE: Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.

1. 6)  Remaining tests check the ability of the EGR valve to interact with the exhaust system. This system uses a negative backpressure EGR valve which will hold vacuum with engine off.
2. 7)  When engine is started, exhaust backpressure at base of EGR valve should open the valve's internal bleed. This will vent the applied vacuum, allowing valve to seat.
