Test M: Electronic Brake Control Module/Electronic Brake Traction Control Module (EBCM/EBTCM) Problem

- Perform ABS/TCS functional check before proceeding. See ABS/TCS FUNCTIONAL CHECK . Go to next step.
- Clear codes. Test drive vehicle. If Code 71 is not set, no problem is found at this time. If Code 71 is set during test drive, replace EBCM/EBTCM. See ELECTRONIC BRAKE CONTROL MODULE/ELECTRONIC BRAKE TRACTION CONTROL MODULE (EBCM/EBTCM) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repairs are complete, clear codes, and repeat ABS/TCS FUNCTIONAL CHECK .
