Entering Self-Diagnostics: Notes
CAUTION:
Accessing self-diagnostics for 30 minutes or longer without running engine will cause battery to discharge, resulting in a possible no-start condition and faulty diagnostic readings. To ensure proper operation, attach battery charger to battery.
NOTE:
To exit service mode without erasing trouble codes during self-diagnostic procedures, depress BI-LEV button (ECCP equipped), touch RTN key (CRT equipped) or turn ignition switch to OFF position (all vehicles).
