Code 19, Fuel Pump Circuit Shorted: Notes

Code will set if Codes 12, 14 and 15 are not set, engine coolant temperature is 50°C or greater, no 4X pulse signals have been seen since key on and fuel pump feedback voltage on circuit No. 120 is greater than 7 volts for 6 seconds after key on.

1. With ignition on and engine off, fuel pump monitor voltage should be zero volts. Voltage greater than 7 volts on circuit No. 120 must be repaired.
2. Checks for shorted oil pressure switch.
3. Checks for shorted fuel pump relay.
4. Checks for voltage on circuit No. 120 at PCM.
5. Checks for proper control of the fuel pump relay by the PCM.
