Code 29, Transaxle Shift Problem Shift "B" Solenoid: Notes

Code will set if Codes 21, 22, 24, 28 and 56 are not set, transaxle pressure switch indicates D1, D2, D3 or D4, engine is running, vehicle speed is 7 MPH or greater and throttle position is 15.7 degrees or more.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.

Checks electrical operation of solenoid.
Checks power feed to solenoid.
Checks shift "B" solenoid control circuit and PCM.
Checks internal transaxle harness and shift solenoid for opens or shorts to ground. If circuits are faulty, replace transaxle harness.
