Code 68, Cruise Control Servo Position Sensor: Notes

Code will set if throttle angle is greater than 19 degrees and servo position sensor is at least 7 percent greater than commanded value for 2 seconds, or if servo is commanded to 46 percent or less of maximum stroke and servo position sensor is indicating at least 19 percent less than commanded value for 2 seconds.

1. Checks cruise control servo operation, servo linkage and vacuum.
2. Checks cruise vacuum release valve, vacuum lines and servo throttle linkage for binding.
3. Checks vent valve in cruise control servo.
