Code 70, Intermittent TP Sensor: Notes

Code will set if Codes 31, 32 and 34 are not set, throttle angle changes more than 5 degrees in 12.5 milliseconds, MAP is greater than 22 kPa, MAP is not within 12 kPa of BARO, engine is running, cooling system is functioning properly with no overheat, traction control is not active and MAP changes 3 kPa or less in .21 second during a 5 degree or greater change in throttle angle.

1. Attempts to reset Code 70 and store snapshot data when the fault occurred.
2. Checks Code 70 snapshot value to determine if an intermittent low or high voltage caused code to set.
