Code 71, Intermittent Map Signal: Notes

Code will set if MAP sensor reading changes more than 7.4 kPa in 12.5 milliseconds, Codes 21, 22 and 119 are not set, throttle angle does not change more than one degree in 1.01 seconds, engine speed does not change more than 100 RPM in 1.01 seconds, EGR does not change by more than 4 percent in 1.01 seconds, A/C clutch does not cycle during code test conditions, cooling system is functioning properly and no overheat condition exists, traction control is not active and PCM is receiving reference pulses from IC module at least every .3 second.
