Code 86, Undefined Trans. Gear Ratio: Notes

Code will set if Codes 21, 22, 24, 56 and 75 are not set, engine is running, vehicle speed is 7 MPH or greater. throttle angle is 11 degrees or greater, transaxle not in Park or Neutral and commanded transaxle line pressure is 100 psi or greater.

1. Verifies no other codes are set and transaxle fluid checking procedure has been properly performed.
2. With engine running, if display indicates anything other than 0.00, PCM is faulty.
3. If scan display does not match gear ratio through all ranges, internal transaxle malfunction has occurred.
