Code 91, Park/Neutral Switch: Notes

Code will set if engine speed changes from zero to a non-zero value without park/neutral input changing from high to low and at least 5 seconds have passed since a transaxle range switch transition, or if Codes 24, 75 and 86 are not set, park/neutral input is low, engine is running, throttle angle is 15.7 degrees or greater, vehicle speed is 7 MPH or greater, gear ratio is 3.11 or less and all conditions have been met for 5 seconds.

1. Checks function of transaxle range switch.
2. Checks switch and adjustment.
3. Checks ground circuit.
4. Checks park/neutral position input circuit.
5. Checks for poor connection at PCM or faulty PCM.
